Selina Mae Kitty Cat Morris

A tribute to Selina Mae Kitty Cat: Born on February 14th, 2014, adopted on February 23rd, 2016. Died on February 23, 2023 (exactly 7 years after we got her, lucky number 7!) Nicknames: Seenbeans, Coconut, Coconut Baby, The Goodest Girl, Little Olympic Diver, Snaggle-Tooth Baby Pet Parents: Daddy Albert and Mommy Rachel Siblings: Josie Bean Bunny Boos, cat sister and sometimes (tolerated) friend Other Family Members and Friends: Selina never met a stranger, never hissed, bit, or growled at anyone or anything. She was pure love and showed unconditional love to everyone who made the decision to pet her little head. Favorite Toys: She loved her 'ball baby' and would carry it around in her mouth while yelling at it constantly. She also loved her feather and would furiously paw at it for hours. She loved to eat plants and fell in love with one (very plastic) plant in particular. She would stare at it for hours and sit next to it. We used to call it her little boyfriend. Favorite Activities: Pawing at your feet when you walked by, pacing the area right in front of her food and water bowls and doubling back to check and make sure they were still of reasonable level, meowing at every 'hello', following you up and down the stairs, helping Mommy pick out her clothes before work everyday, laying in the sun with her sister, laying on Daddy's stomach and back every night, begging for human food, putting her head in your unattended cups or eating your unattended human food, following any and all lights reflected on the walls, following Mommy and Daddy to the bathroom always, having her belly rubbed, laying upright on the recliner like a little lady, sticking her tongue out through the little hole between her snaggletooth and other teeth, sitting on the beam under our kitchen table, rolling around on her catnip scented toys. Least Favorite Thing: Getting her back end brushed, going outside, car rides, eye boogers (which she got constantly and had to be wiped off) Favorite Places to Sleep: The back part of the sectional right next to the window, next to Daddy at night, at the very top of the stairs, sitting straight up but unwilling to lay down, on the floor with her front paws outstretched like a little Olympic diver. Favorite Memories: We have so many great memories of our girl. She really was our lucky number 7, even though we wish we could have 77 more. Her snaggletooth, bleps, constant meows at nothing, food-loving, stranger accepting, purring at everything, staring at all the shadows and lights reflected off the headlights on the road beside our house, chirping at birds, and wide-eyed angelic face. We will miss her everyday. She left a hole in our hearts and we cannot wait to see her again. Her short time in our lives will never be forgotten.
