Dixie Rae (Double D (Dixie Dogg) Leisure was born on February 16, 2011, and passed on February 18, 2022. She is survived by her pet parents, Heather Braden and Travis Leisure, human siblings: Austin, Shelby, Isaiah, Loran, Jimmy, Patrick, Dylon and most importantly her baby/kid Kamrin (Isaiah & Loran's daughter); pet sibling, Sissy. Other family and friends are Uncle Derrick, Gma & Gpa Turner, Mike and Nick (AKA Cheese). Dixie's favorite toys were her large stuffed animal (aka Punk), tennis balls, and large sticks. Her favorite activities were going for rides with mom, playing ball, telling dad what to do, smoke breaks and playing with and watching her kid (Kamrin) her and Sissy were Kams first guests at her first tea party ❤️ She absolutely hated her tail lol. Her favorite place to sleep was with her kid when visiting, and with the mom, dad, and Sissy. Dixie had no clue she was a dog she was a very social people person lol she was stubborn and hard headed and just as much as lovebug. She had to be center of attention and had no trouble demanding it. She loved music and being sung to and would sing herself when the dad played hermonica She had so many friends who just love her to pieces and she never met a stranger. Most importantly she was my best friend and savior. She could sense when I was going to have a seizure and would not leave my side. I can't count how many times I've come to after having bad seizures and not knowing where I was or what year it even was and she was right there licking my head laying over the top of me to keep me still taking care of me. She made sure I was never alone. Dad would give her hard time calling her a mom loyalist and she was. She was there thru alot of hard times for me and saved my life. I've never felt an attachment and deep love as if I gave birth to her and Sissy for any other animals. It's been me and my girls for 10 years and things will never be quite the same. We're just lost right now. There could never be another Dixie Dogg and Sissy Girl. Miss her so very much no words can describe the hole left in our little family here without her. She wasn't just a dog she was my kid my best friend my confidant my protector my side kick my ride or die my girl my savior. There will never be another Dixie D O double G......😞
