Boob Pedue

Boob Pedue was born on May 12, 2012, and passed on January 14, 2023. He is survived by his pet parents, Nadine and Rod Pedue. He was preceded in death by Toupee the cat (1/20/20), Mr. Stiles the cat (4/20/20), Elvis the dog (memorial for him her 7/27/22). Other family and friends are my parents - Fred and Sandy Holzer (Boob's owners before they passed away; and Michael Hozer - family member who lived with Boob. Boob's favorite toys were catnip, a ball of yarn, and feather wand. His least favorite thing was going to the vet. His favorite place to sleep was in the back of the loveseat in the den, the guest bed, our bed, or outside in the sun in the garden. Favorite memories of Boob: Boob, a/k/a "Booty", "Boobie", "The Boobster", "Boober", "Pooty", "Handsome Little Guy", "Sweet Little Man", and "My Little Trooper" was my late parents' cat and lived three hours away. After my dad passed away and my mom had to go into a nursing facility, my husband and I brought Boob to his new home on September 10, 2019. Boob was an indoor/outdoor kitty and enjoyed hanging out in the yard with our dog, Elvis, until he unexpectedly passed away on July 27, 2022. They would do daily parameter checks" together, walking around the house and garage. Boob loved to chase mice, hang out on the bench in the garden, and watch the birds from the comfort of the back of the couch in the den or his cat tower. Boob liked to go camping, walk on the trails, hanging out in the camper and watching the wildlife. Boob also loved to just sit with us and do nothing, as long as we were doing it together. He was the coolest cat we've ever known. We found out in April of 2022 that Boob had an aggressive cancer involving his bile ducts and gallbladder. We attempted surgery and discovered that the tumor was inoperable and we didn't know how long we had with our sweet little man. We started him on herbal supplements 4 times a day, as well as meditative/healing music and he was able to enjoy another 6 months of fun filled living. Unfortunately, on December 28, 2022, the Boobster began to become ill again and an ultrasound revealed that the tumor had grown and it was a matter of days or weeks, but he fought like the little trooper that he was and always did it with the sweetest disposition. He was a very special kitty, he was with me during the losses of several family members(including other pets) since 2018, and I'll never know another quite like my Boober. Rise in peace Boobie. Boob, you were the best little traveling buddy and listener I have ever known. It was an honor and privilege to have you with us. Although our time was shorter than most, we packed so much love, laughter and adventure into it!! You will be immensely missed and always, always loved!! I know you're already hanging with Elvis, and all the rest of our buddies and people, my sweet little man.
