Baylee Marie McCord

Baylee Marie McCord was born August 22, 2008 in the state of Indiana. She was quickly taken into the loving home of Mike and Laura McCord as young puppy and was a loving part of their family for 10 years. Baylee had many nicknames in the McCord family, a few of the being "Bay" and "Baylee-Girl". She was a special dog and loved everyone she met, as she didn't know a stranger... but more than anything she loved her family. Baylee loved all food, but her favorite snacks and treats were Gene's Rootbeer hotdogs, DQ icecream, fruit, popcorn, dog treats and peanut butter, though she loved her peanut butter in her red kong toy. Her red kong was one of her favorite toys, but she also enjoyed any toy that squeaked. Her family loved to call her the "shredder", due to the fact that not many toys with squeakers survived more than a day before they were removed from all her toys. Another favorite activity of Baylee was "helping" unwrap her gifts, or shredding them to get to her gifts, especially around Christmas time. Baylee also loved to shred all junk mail and was deemed a professional shredder by her family. Whenever her family went somewhere, Baylee loved to ride along in the family Jeep. They would roll down the back window and let Baylee stick her head out and enjoy the fresh air while they train hunted with her human sibling, Hunter. While Baylee did love special actives and food treats, Baylee loved more than anything spending time with her family. She enjoyed her daily belly rubs, and kisses on her sweet head. Baylee always wanted to be around her family and loved them as much as they loved her. Her parents write "We lost our sweet girl to cancer and we love and miss her so much. We hope she sees how much she is missed and will wait at Rainbow Bridge for us. We hope she knows how much we love her. We planted a Dogwood tree in her memory and hope to see it bloom next spring. Love you bunches sweet girl. Our lives will never be the same without you. Love, Mom & Dad" Baylee passed surrounded by her family on May 7, 2019. She is survived by her pet parents, Mike and Laura McCord; her human siblings, Taylor and Hunter and her pet siblings, Molly 2.0 and Libby.
