Justice Baker was born in June 2009 and went to live with her forever family on August 2, 2009. She fell into eternal sleep on October 23, 2020. Justice was also known to her family and pet parents, Ryan Baker and Kim Beyer as Baby J, Sis, Sisser J, and Tinky J. She leaves them to cherish many great memories, along with her fur brother and first forever friend, Louie, and younger fur brother, Pawlie, her Nan and Pop, her Grampa Mike and Gramma Tammy and a host of aunts, uncles and family friends who loved and helped care for her. Justice was sweet and loved people, loved having company come see her, head and ear rubs, clothes (preferably pink), doing pretend makeup sessions with her mom, cuddles with her dad and buttering him up for attention, treats, snacks, and the occasional pet accessory item. She loved her couch and never ever met one that she did not like. She very effortlessly became the first animal in history to ever be permitted to lay on her Nan’s couch. She often spent time watching the world perched on the back of her couch as she watched through the remaining mangled window shade that never got replaced after her repeated efforts to get the neighborhood cat that taunted her. Justice never found favor with that cat or any other, but loved her people without fail. Throughout her life, Justice was often told “The Story of the Sis” and would be happy to know that her story lived on: Once upon a time, there was a pit-bull mom and a pit-bull dad. They had lots of pit-bull babies. A not very good man paid to have Justice and the other babies to use them for not good things. But, God looked down and saw this and said “I am not happy with these bad things and I will not let that bad man get those babies!” All of a sudden a very interesting thing happened; that bad man went to jail and just like that he could not get those cute babies. God smiled and said “Now that is done I must find very special moms and dads for those babies.” One day, a Dad came home and said to a Mom, “Hey mom, I know where we can get a pit-bull baby”. A mom said, “But we don’t need no pit-bull babies, Dad. We have a Louie dog.” A Dad said, “But Louie is your dog and he’s a little lost in life and needs a friend.” Even though a Mom said no, God said “Well I have different plans.” So he thought for just a second and said “Let me get this man who sings and plays guitar to help her change her mind.” On August 2, 2009 (the day after the Dave Matthews concert at Deer Creek), a mom and a dad went to see the pit-bull babies. A dad picked up Justice and right away he fell in love with her and he said, “Mom, this is our girl!” A mom had picked up one of Justice’s sisters and said, “But I think I kinda like this girl right here.” A mom and a dad switched babies and a mom took Justice and held her. While she was holding her, that baby got poops on her mom’s shirt and a mom said, “Well I guess this IS our girl.” A mom and a dad took Justice and drove her all the way to her forever home. And do you know what she had waiting for her when she got there? She had her very own Budder Lou! And four years later Justice got her very own Pawlie Monster that she eventually learned to love (even though she and her mom wanted to take him back after two days because he was so crazy). And that is the story of the Sis and how she went to her forever home. The End. Always followed by a ‘high five’ from Justice. Justice was able to pass from this world at her home with her dad, mom and fur brothers staying by her side. Her wish is for more people to find pit-bull babies and give them special and loving homes. Justice was so very loved. She remains to her dad always as his sunshine and to her mom, always and forever the BEST one.
