Willow Blossom Peebles

Willow Blossom was given to me on March 11, 2020. I had a choice between two cats: a beautiful siamese or a three-legged cat. The choice was blatantly clear. I did not hesitate with my answer. I got in contact with the current guardian and welcomed her home soon after. She was estimated to be 16 years old when I first met her, but it was hard to believe considering how fast she was hopping around. My brother jokingly called her 'Tripod'. She was a bit shy and scared at the new environment so I let her hide under the bed with food and water and let her come out when she was ready. The time flew by like a wink when I woke up one day and she was on my bed at my feet. She was warming up to me. Things only progressed faster. Day by day she was slowly inching her way up my bed until she curled up to my chest to cuddle. It was set in stone at that point. We have been inseparable ever since. Her favorite place to sleep was right next to me. Usually by my head or chest. I would often use her as a pillow or a foot warmer and she never minded. She loved it actually, being squished under my legs or being wrapped up in my arms. She loved catnip and cozy spaces and falling over like a log. I would always just hear a loud 'thump' and she just let gravity pull her down it was so cute. The cutest cat with the meanest RBF. She always looked angry and she used this to her advantage when the water bowl was empty she would sit inside the container and stare passively aggressively. So sassy. She had cute little quirks like meowing to be picked up to cuddle instead of using the stairs to get to me, or always exposing her belly for a rub, or licking my skin painfully for three minutes straight. Sometimes she would watch TV with me too. She loved to be scratched behind the ears, it would make her stub wag and she would lick my hand when I stopped because she wanted me to continue. I feel I may have spoiled her a bit. Her death was very sudden. Overnight, really. She was just fine the day before. I wish she could have passed in a more peaceful manner. She died on April 6 2024 early in the morning. My sweet baby girl...She lived a long, and hopefully good, life. I will miss her always. Rest easy my blossom. I love you.
