In Loving Memory of Lilly Liles April 17, 2007 – March 27, 2026 With heavy hearts, yet immense gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we remember and celebrate the life of Lilly, affectionately known as “Baby Dog.” Lilly passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at the remarkable age of 18, leaving behind a lifetime of love, loyalty, and cherished memories with those who were lucky enough to call her family. Lilly was the beloved companion of her pet parents, Cory and Amber Liles, and a loyal member of the Liles family for nearly two decades. She also leaves behind her human siblings, Pierce and Piper Liles, who grew up with Lilly by their side, as well as her energetic pet sibling, Cinnamon, who kept her on her toes in her later years. For most of her life, Lilly loved to play. One of her favorite treasures was a long stuffed mummy toy that she proudly carried and dragged everywhere she went. Though playful for much of her younger years, Lilly was equally known for her calm and gentle nature. As she grew older, she perfected the art of the nap and found her greatest comfort curled up in bed beside her pet parents. Lilly had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures…especially food. If there was meat involved, she was never far behind, always ready to claim her share without hesitation. While she rarely had dislikes, she occasionally found herself less enthusiastic about the playful pestering from her much younger pet sibling, Cinnamon. Over the course of her 18 beautiful years, Lilly witnessed and shared in countless milestones. She was there through graduations, family changes, and the journey of moving into not just one, but three homes with the family who loved her so dearly. Each place became a home because Lilly was there. In many ways, she grew up alongside her family and was present for almost half of their lives, and for the entirety of her human siblings’ lives. To have 18 years with a dog is nothing short of a miracle, and Lilly filled every one of those days with unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and unconditional love. She wasn’t just a pet…she was family, a constant presence, and a true friend through every season of life. Though the house feels quieter now, Lilly’s spirit lives on in every memory, every story shared, and every moment of love she left behind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Until we meet again, sweet Lilly.
