Peter Rahna Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Peter, I’m sorry I couldn’t be there when you passed But I know you couldn’t have been in better hands. I know you were gently released from your pain and suffering death often brings. Up to the end you were loved and cared for. We had an awesome Seventeen plus years together, from the moment I watched your birth to these last few months of traveling. You and your siblings Ping, Cecilia, Sophia were all ankle biters earning you the last name of Rhana, short for Pirhana. Your human sister Melanie being the victim of your sharp teeth named you. Your mother, Kitty Numkin allowed you to nurse for so long I wondered if you would ever be weaned. Kitty Numkin was a great mom, wasn’t she? My spoiled baby boy. I sometimes had to hide in another room to eat my chicken or turkey in peace away from your prying paws. You were such a mooch. It was all good though I loved you so very much. And through the years you graciously accepted other cats and kittens in the home that I took in to care for. Perhaps I shouldn’t have done so with so many because our years together went by so, so fast. I should have spent more time with you alone. My heart is aching so much right now over your loss, but I know in time the pain will ease. You will always be in my heart and memory and I know I will think of you often. You gave me so many fond memories. Until our spirits meet again my sweet pet, I wish you youth and health restored. And a warm sunny spot, to call your very own. I wish you companionship and a forest in which to climb trees and explore. When my time is over here, Meet me on the Rainbow Bridge My precious little dear. Love MOM. Peter will be cremated at Loose Funeral Home in Anderson sometime this week. I will keep him with me eternally.
